Famous Telly

Oh wow! Last week I had a crazy experience. My cat Telly was featured in a book Cats 24/7: Extraordinary Photographs of Wonderful Cats. His photo was put up in Bryant Park along with dozens of others. They had an opening celebration with the lovely Lynn Redgrave (who brought her sweet dog). And as New Yorkers do, they brought their pets. I didn’t see any cats, but the dogs (and their owners) were indeed out.

Thank you, thank you to David Dadekian for taking the prize-winning photo of Telly that made it into the book! Telly won a year’s worth of cat food from Purina for his star-studded debut. And I–for a moment in time–had a famous Cat.

Cracked me up a bit as they listed me as graphic designer Maeve Richmond. Um… I do like to goof around with design but that’s made up.

Thank you David! (a.k.a. The Food Guy)

SCREEN SAVER

Banished from New York City graphic designer Maeve Richmond’s lap, Telly decided the warm home-office computer monitor was the next-best thing. Now, whenever Richmond wants to read her email or open Quark, she has to lift Telly’s paw–or tail–out of the way. Photo by David Dadekian
