Must Have Art For Your Floor

I recently met a great rug designer, but wow, I had no idea how stunning her work was until I had it on my hardwood floor.

Deborah Hernandez is bright and bubbly. When we met at an interior design event I couldn’t resist the urge to have her over for lunch. Deborah is the owner and Director of Design at The Rug Designer’s Studio. Her portfolio of custom-designed, hand-crafted rugs speaks for itself but, wait until you get your hands on a sample in your home. Deborah dropped this hand tufted wool hot pink and black sample on my hardwood floor and it was all I could to keep from anchoring the piece down with props in a shameless attempt to make it stay. I even lured my cat over.  Well, she kind of lured herself… !
